Vegeta’s fighting spirit is higher than ever and we will see a stronger Vegeta against Gas in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85.
Goku and Vegeta regained their spirit, all thanks to Bardock. The dead Saiyan reminded them of their inner strength. It did not provide physical strength. In fact, all it did was reinforce the will of our protagonists.
DBS 85 will show amazing combat.
We believe a new fighting form can be unlocked soon. Vegeta hasn’t had his own form for a while now. Yes, his Super-Ego boost was impressive but maybe it is finally time for something with a better kick.
Basically, he needs something stronger to stand up to Gas’ strength.
We believe Dragon Ball Super Manga 85 will give a lot of focus to Vegeta. Maybe his super ego form, maybe a new model.
Basically, we expect Vegeta to do most of the fighting in it. Whether he will defeat Gas or not, is debatable, but the fight will be amazing.
We expect Dragon Ball Super Season 2 to be announced soon, maybe around the end of 2023.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85 Release Date:
We are going to receive the raw scans of Dragon Ball Super 85 by 15th June 2022. They will be present in the June issue of Monthly V Jump magazine, published by Shueisha.
The raws are in Japanese, which isn’t read by the majority of the fans. Now, sometimes there are fan scans, but not for this series.
Occasionally they do turn up, but mostly, it does not get English fan scans.
We get the official English scans of Dragon Ball Super Manga 85 on June 20, 2022. These are legit and reading them helps the creators.
The sources for the chapter are Mangaplus website, the Shonen Jump app, and the Viz media site.
We also recommend checking out Boruto Chapter 71 and One Punch Man Chapter 165 since they will be out soon.

The official website of the series will release some early DBS 85 Reddit spoilers, around 10 days before its release. This is the first source and the second one is the Reddit leaks, which we believe, will be around June 16, 2022.

Why does a Saiyan fight? For glory or money or freedom or such things? No. A true Saiyan fights due to his desire for victory.
This sheer force of will defines him. And that is what we see in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85. Goku and Vegeta embrace the principle laid by Bardock.
What did Bardock teach Goku and Vegeta?
The data left by Bardock turned out to be immensely helpful to our heroes. He reminded them of the Saiyan pride. He reminded them of the meaning of combat. And this was especially important to Goku.
Somehow, he gained a part of himself, that we all thought was lost forever.
Goku got back his memories – those from planet Vegeta. He remembered his father and mother. Despite being a child, he could see.
He remembered being sent away. Due to the crash, he had amnesia. It is finally cured now! Dragon Ball Super 85 spoilers will show Goku fighting better.
So what is the Saiyan pride – it is the acceptance of their true nature and sticking to their convictions.
What did Gas do?
Last we heard, Gas was hurtling through space at incomprehensible speeds, chasing Goku. And in this chapter, he has finally returned. Earlier than expected, his return was met with Goku and Vegeta coming out ready for a fight.
Their spirits have been restored!
The Saiyans decide to fight together this time. With their forms unleashed, they charge ahead. Still, Gas is strong enough to match them. Huge flurry attacks take place.
Both sides try their best to one-up the other. But it won’t be so easy. We expect to see Gas regain his advantage in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85 spoilers.
But it will be followed by an upgrade from Vegeta and Goku.
What did Vegeta do?
The energy blasts from Goku and Vegeta were slowly pushing Gas back. But he is still too tough. Gas exerted more force to turn the tables. And that is when Vegeta left Goku to handle the energy to attack Gas suddenly.
It might have worked elsewhere, but Gas was ready. He parried Vegeta, dealing a lot of damage. However, that wasn’t the end. Vegeta took it well because all this damage only serves to strengthen him.
