The key to defeating Gas in the present might just lie in the past. Bardock vs Gas is very similar to Goku vs Gas. Although the scale and power level of the former is significantly inferior to the latter.
However, the spirit remains the same, and Dragon Ball Super Manga 83 will give us so much more of these events.

We expect the DBS 83 raw scans to be released within April 15, 2021. These raws will be found in this year’s April issue of V-Jump magazine. The raws are scanned out and usually leaked online.
Once the raws are leaked, we generally get fan translations.
However, that is not the case here. Mostly, we do not find these illegal translations for this particular manga. And this lack of piracy of the chapters is a good thing.

We are excited for Dragon Ball Super 83 spoilers, as it portrays Goku’s journey to finding his own style.
How did Goku shake Gas?
We begin the chapter with Goku warping away at high speeds and Gas following him everywhere, hoping to get some attacks in. However, Goku is highly experienced in Instant Teleportation. He literally humiliates Gas using this technique.
That said, it is hard to stay on the defensive. The few attacks from Gas did significant damage and Goku realized that he can’t keep this up forever. Hence, he did something impressive.
Goku warped from point A to B to C and so on. Point A is Planet Cereal. He stopped at point H, where he found Whis.
Following this, he immediately went back from H to G to F, all the way back to A. It was incredibly fast and Gas couldn’t follow. To make matters worse, warping from H to A is impossible.
And that is how Goku shook his tail. Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83 raw scans will show Gas returning to planet Cereal by flying through space.
What is going on in Planet Cereal?
With Gas returning in 20 minutes, things must be rushed. Now we must note two things. Goku planted the seed of doubt in Gas – is Elec really trustworthy? Gas might start to think for himself and maybe, things will change.
Now, Monaito definitely can’t heal Granolah in 20 minutes. However, he provides the group with Bardock’s scouter! They make it work and that is how they come across some audio left behind.
As they listen to it, Goku hears Bardock asking Monaito to stay alive.
This triggers Goku’s memories. After multiple decades, he manages to recall the face of his parents. He recalls how they told him to stay alive.
Dragon Ball Super 83 English Chapter will show Goku’s efforts to stay alive. And the only way to do that is to get stronger and defeat Gas.
What will Goku do now?
The biggest hint is left by Whis. The angel has taught the basics of Ultra Instinct to Goku. However, being a Saiyan, it is hard for him to keep his heart quiet and fight consistently.
Whis advises him to form his own version of Ultra Instinct.
We believe Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83 will show Goku taking a journey inside. He has to discover his roots, his true identity. And using that only, he can device his own Ultra Instinct.
He should not be a user of the technique; Goku must own Ultra Instinct and defeat Gas.
