Mirzapur Season 3 Renewal: Cancelled Or Not?
Even though hundreds of thousands of people like the second season, many even raised their voices saying that it was dull. Fans took to Twitter to know if there’s any possibility of Amazon Prime Video returning with the third season of Mirzapur.
But no one answers have been given from the official team just yet. And this is not common for producers to announce the third season the day they start airing the second season.
So not getting a direct answer doesn’t mean it will not happen. Even though not much has been heard from the Directors of the hit series Mirzapur, the actors from the series showed their support and interest in doing a third season.
In an interview with NewIndiaExpress, Guddu aka Ali Faizal, went as far as to say that the story of the second season might extend into a season 3.
Within 3 hours of its airing, Mirzapur second season got trending on Amazon Prime Video and thousands of people started searching for Mirzapur Season 3 On Google.
According to Google Trends reports, the graph saw its record higher after 10PM.
Subregions like Delhi, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand were top at list of the people searching for Season 3 release date.
With stats like these, there is no way the production will cancel the series. We will keep you updated if we hear anything from the official team.
Will Munna Bhaiya Return in Mirzapur Season 3?
Absolutely not! In the tenth episode of the season, we saw Munna Bhaiya getting killed by Guddu Pandit. With a shot in his chest, there is no way he will survive.
But, even though we say absolutely not, there is a slight chance that Munna Bhaiya will be brought back in Mirzapur Season 3.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Munna bhaiya aka Divyendu Sharma talks about how some people in this world have a heart deformity where their heart is on the right side instead of the left.
And so when Guddu shot him, he missed his heart and maybe Mirzapur directors will use this loophole to bring Munna Bhaiya back.
Even though Munna Bhaiya aka Divyendu Sharma didn’t survive at the end of the season, we still have our Kaleen Bhaiya. Even though Kaleen Bhaiya aka Pankaj Tripathi got shot multiple times in the last episode, there’s a high chance of him surviving this ordeal.
Pankaj Tripathi will be a big part of the upcoming third season, alongside Sharad Shukla aka Anjum Sharma, he will be fighting to take control of Mirzapur. Both of their goals and interests are one now that Guddu Pandit has taken over Mirzapur, in the third season Kaleen Bhaiya will fight to get his throne back.
Mirzapur Season 3 Release Date
The first season of Mirzapur aired in November 2018 and had 9 episodes in total. The second season aired in October 2020 and had 10 episodes. We expect the upcoming third season to be Mirzapur’s final season and will most probably have 12 episodes in total.
Analyzing past releases, we expect Mirzapur Season 3 to get released around October 2022. The second season took two years to get released and we think it will be the same for the third season because it will be hard to shoot in this pandemic even if they wanted to.
Season 1 and 2 are available to watch on Prime Video, the third season will be listed here as well when released.
