The fight results have led to harsh remarks coming Deji’s way, especially from his brother, who said, “Deji, I’m disappointed. That’s honestly how I feel, man. I’m sorry if that’s not what you wanted to hear, but it’s the truth. “

Following his fight against Alex Wassabi, Deji claimed that Weller would face a shameful defeat at his hands, stating: “If you ever do get back in the ring, I will humiliate you and make you take another break off of social media.”
Weller took to his podcast, Wafflin’ Podcast, hosted alongside Theo Baker and Luke Martin, to react to Deji’s callout. He clapped back with a harsh response, saying:
Says the guy that’s just taken a break off of social media and lost for the third time. All he’s done all week is just chat sh*t about me… The way he’s talking—there’s this element where I’m like… This hard-man persona that you’re putting on, you’re trying to come across as this big, scary don. What is that? Just be genuine. You know, I’m not scared of you.
Weller is up for the challenge, and he also goes on record to expose Deji’s inability to sell tickets, and he identifies that as the reason for the callout.
Deji has gone on record to say he wishes to continue to fight, and Weller states that the only reason Deji is calling him out is to attract a greater crowd for his next boxing match.

Although Joe Weller has clearly expressed that he is down for the fight to happen, he stated that boxing was not one of his priorities at the moment and he wouldn’t be able to give it his full attention.
