Much-awaited season 2 of the anime “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent” has been announced! Fans have been wondering if there would be a sequel to the first season. If you are curious about the second season, this article is a must-read.

Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu or simply Seijo, is an isekai-fantasy anime. Sei Takanashi, a regular office worker from Japan is magically pulled into a foreign world against her will.

The kingdom of Slatania had conducted a ritual to summon a holy maiden – the legendary “Saint”- to help them in their fight against miasma and monsters.

But she is told that it was a mistake; the Grand Magus had intended to summon only one person and that person is not her. The prince of the kingdom openly declares his support for Aira Misono, the “true saint”, leaving Sei confused.

Sei remains optimistic and sets her sight on the Medicinal Flora Research Institute. This is a chance for her to indulge in her new passion for studying herbs and potions.

The first season ended on June 22, 2021, with 12 episodes. Here are the details about season 2 of Seijo.

The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent Season 1 Review

Although there are a lot of manga/light novels in the romance isekai-fantasy genre, Seijo is one of the few that got an anime adaptation. It received mixed reviews for its animation and storyline.

Season 1 has a score of 7.27 on MAL. The anime has a larger audience than its manga, mainly because it was streamed on open sources like YouTube in some regions.

Seijo is somewhat based on a slow-life theme, where the protagonist slowly builds their life in a new world, in a way that they had always wished for, despite being thrown into unfavorable circumstances.

It has 12 episodes of 22 minutes each, which means you can quickly finish it without spending a large amount of time.
