After the latest Boruto episode, fans are left with many questions about what will happen in Boruto Episode 185.
It seems the Scientific Ninja Weapons are no longer a proprietary technology of Konoha. Not only are Boruto and his companions attacked through the means of the same technology, it looks like Ao also has access to Scientific Weapons.
Have other villages also managed to develop these weapons? It is also highly possible that there is a traitor among Konoha’s Scientific Ninja Weapons development center.
Judging by the title of Boruto Ep 185 “Tools”, we will definitely get to know more about these weapons and how others seem to have access to them. All doubts are pointing towards Katatsuke right now, but he does not seem like a person who will be leaking such info.
Ao from the Hidden Village of Mist attacked Boruto and the others. Naruto, Shikamaru and others already had that one of the villages was supporting Kara. Is Kirigakure taking a stand against Konoha?

Plot and Recap of Episode 184:
Boruto and the Team 7 members are asked by Naruto to abort their mission and to immediately search for Konohamaru and Mugino, so they set off accompanied by Katatsuke in order to investigate what went wrong.
They soon arrive at the crash site, but are attacked by mechanical puppets. Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki engage in combat against them and Katatsuke identifies these puppets as Autonomous Scientific Ninja Tools. Katatsuke uses the tools he developed himself to fight against these puppets and they are finally able to overwhelm the puppets.
Boruto and the others find Konohamaru and Mugino inside a cave. But before Konohamaru can reveal any details, former Kirigakure shinobi Ao encounters them! Ao also uses a scientific ninja weapon to battle the Konoha shinobis. Katatsuke tries to take him on, but Ao is far too powerful.
In order to let Konohamaru and the others escape from this unavoidable conflict, Mugino sacrifices himself after getting pierced by a tool embedded in Ao’s arm. At the end of Boruto Episode 184, we see Ao is not dead yet.
