We have no break next week. And hopefully, the two weeks after that will be break free as well. That said, by the end of the year, there will be a lot of breaks thanks to Christmas and New year Holidays. We should get ready to get frequent breaks for a while.
The Egghead arc did a lot of info dump and now, it seems that Oda sensei is gearing up to do some action sequences now. And on that note, maybe the mystery behind Kuma might be put on the back burner for now. We will see as we proceed.
The last week was spent on theories. We got to know so many interesting fan theories and speculations. Reading them is a part of being in the One Piece fandom. They are mostly wrong but still, it is fun to speculate when it comes to a series like this.
One Piece 1068 Spoilers:
- The name of the chapter is “A Genius’ Dream”.
- In the cover, we have Caeser and Judge fighting as they remember their days from MADS.
- The title refers to Vegapunk’s dream of course. He dreamt of providing free energy to the whole world.
- However, this dream needed a lot of research and that led him to the mysterious ancient energy source.
- This information was actually buried by the World Government.
- That is why they want him dead – they want no one to find out about these old secrets.
- Shaka orders the release of the Seraphims – Mihawk, Boa, and Jinbe.
- He gives their control authority to Sentomaru.
- We also have Lucci using Rokuogan on Atlas, which badly damages her.
- At the end of the chapter, Luffy and Lucci run into each other.
Things heating up again: Chapter 1068 Spoilers Initial Thoughts:
One of the biggest issues in the upcoming storyline can be Luffy versus Lucci. Yes, another fight between these two will be great but if Oda sensei shows that Lucci is currently as strong as our hero, then all the development from the last arc will be for naught. And we do not want that.
Ideally, Luffy will fail to recognize Lucci. He knew the villain as Pigeon Guy anyways. If they do clash, it should not take Luffy his 100 percent to take this villain out. One of the Gear 4 forms will be enough. And similarly, Zoro must be much stronger than Kaku at this point.
Moreover, Vegapunk keeps getting more and more interesting. We know that he still has not found the energy source for all. He just retrieved some info from the ancient energy source. Thing is, if he does more research, maybe he will be able to replicate it. Is that why he wants to leave Egghead?
A fan pointed out that Stella can be rearranged as Teslla, the genius scientist who is the Father of Modern Energy Systems. Vegapunk is basically an amalgamation of this world’s smartest scientific minds, even though he looks only like Einstein.
We question the strength of Vegapunk’s clones. Granted that Atlas is not a fighter, she still got outdone by Lucci very easily. And the scientist has decided to mobilize 3 whole Seraphims for the sake of 1 small team from the CP-0. Does that mean that Egghead Security is not the best?
One Piece 1068 will give us so much. The possible fight with Lucci, the release of the Seraphims, Vegapunk’s knowledge on a new Power Source for the world, and so on. We fans are very excited to see how Oda sensei decides to handle this.
