Sasuke is set to find the cure to Naruto’s unknown illness and to do so live as a prisoner to uncover its mysteries and hopefully find traces of the cure in the upcoming Boruto Episode 284.
In episode 283, Sakura makes an entrance as the nurse for the prison inmates. Sasuke now has a companion to assist him through this mission.
Sakura updates Sasuke on their change of mission. With the hints in the book the “Sage of Six Paths’ illness” they are led to the library in the prison to find the book titled “Map of the Heavens”.
They come across 12 paintings in the book. These paintings are reminiscent of the ten-tailed beasts and the other two mirror the astronomer Tartar and the Sage of Six Paths which they quickly figure out.
Just as they discuss their next plan of action, we see someone eavesdropping on their conversations. And the episode ends at a convenient cliffhanger, and we must await episode 284.

After such an interesting discovery of the relationship between Naruto’s illness and the book Map of the Heavens in the latest episode, the viewers eagerly want to know the identity of the man spying on Sasuke and Sakura and the consequences this might have.

Boruto Episode 283 Recap:
Zansul has caught on to Sasuke being the one to attack and kill one of his dragons and has ordered the guards to be extra strict with him.
Back in their cells, Sasuke overhears Ganno talking about a rumor about a hidden cellar in Zansul’s room, having caught Sasuke’s curiosity, he goes out to search for it at dusk.
He again encounters a dragon in the hallways. Its fangs cut Sasuke in the face poisoning him.
He becomes nauseous and is unable to fight, just then Sakura uses the red scarf to fend off the now nonhostile dragon. Sasuke is taken to the infirmary and is given the antidote for the poison.
Sakura notifies Sasuke of the change in mission. Kakashi has retrieved a passage from the book “Sage of Six Paths’ illnesses”, the story of the astrologer and the Sage of Six Paths. Decrypting the puzzling tale, they decide to search for hints in the book “Map of the Heavens”.
Sasuke tries to convince Sakura to leave but she insists on staying, giving the argument that they both should work together as husband and wife. Sasuke senses a presence behind the door to find out it’s Jiji who was eavesdropping figuring out that his cell inmate and the nurse are married.
As Jiji and Sasuke walk to the cells, he tells Sasuke to consider his spouse’s feelings or at least give her a ring. This puts Sasuke in a peculiar position, he was never good at being romantic and felt self-conscious about being so inconsiderate towards Sakura’s feelings.
The next day Sakura asks Penzela, the librarian, for the whereabouts of Map of the Heavens to which he replies that it’s a book kept in the basement and only with Zansuls permission is anyone allowed to enter.
She challenges Penzela to a gambling match and wins giving her access to the basement library.
Sasuke and Sakura head there at night. Under the moonlight, Sasuke gives a ring with Sakura, and this is the first time we see such a dramatic romantic development between them.

But in a surprising turn of events, the camera pans towards some spying on their conversation, ending the episode at a cliffhanger.
Boruto Episode 283 Review:
The audience is happy with the overall episode and the developments which came with it.
Though this episode was paced slower than most of the previous ones, it matched well with the themes explored in it.
The romantic moments, enhanced by a beautifully animated and expressive character animation in the episode, between Sasuke and Sakura struck the hearts of the audience, leaving them with much more to expect.
The complaints surrounding this episode come from the fact that it steers away from the manga’s events speeding through many of the scenes.
Boruto Episode 284 Spoilers
In the latest episode, Sasuke gets closer to finding Zansul’s secret, and uncovering so ends ups with even more questions. Let us have a look at the events expected to occur in the next episode.
Sakura comes up with a clever plan for Sasuke to infiltrate Zansul’s base. This plan involves the messenger from the capital who is to meet Zansul.
Sakura lures the messenger into a room where he is rendered unconscious. Sakura and Sasuke both transform into him and his peculiar staff.
Sasuke successfully infiltrates Zansul’s base and enters the hidden cellar. He is stunned to see the room filled with Chickens ending the episode with yet another massive cliffhanger.
