The fated time is finally here and Oda has been dropping some hints about Zoro’s father. With One Piece Chapter 1024 spoilers, we see Yamato meet Shimotsuki Ushimaru.
Oda revealed the mystery behind Sanji’s family in the Big Mom arc and now that we are in Wano, the land of samurai, and it’s the perfect time for the world to know who is Zoro’s biological father.
What are Zoro’s roots? In Chapter 1023 we got to know that Zoro’s fighting style resembles Shimotuski Ryuma and Ushimaru and with the spoilers of One Piece 1024, it’s more than confirmed who Zoro’s father is.
Yamato has been a side character for the longest period of time in the manga, but it’s time for her/him to shine. We get a backstory from when Yamato was eight years old and met Zoro’s dad in a sealed dungeon in Wano.
So without wasting much time, let’s take a look at the spoilers.
One Piece Chapter 1024 Spoilers
Just like every week, the manga spoilers are finally here for everyone to read.
Since there is no break this week, the English chapter will be released as usual on time.
The title of the chapter is “A certain someone”.
The One Piece 1024 manga spoilers start with the things happening in all of Onigashima. We get a summary of the fights that have ended and ones that are ongoing.
Then we get to witness the fight between Yamato and Kaido on the roof.
Both are going at it while using their full strength. Even though both are related by blood, they seem to have an enmity that cannot be resolved.
There’s a quick flashback about Yamato’s past in the chapter and it takes place right after Kozuki Oden died 20 years ago in Wano.
Yamato used to be called Onihime. It means demon princess. Yamato was imprisoned by Kaido because she went on a rampage in Onigashima.
From the panel, it looks like Yamato used King’s haki and defeated many of Kaido’s subordinates.
Kid Yamato gets locked down in one of the caves with three other powerful samurai. One of them is Shimotsuki Ushimaru. They read Oden’s journal.
The three samurai bust open the cave and go out to fight Kaido. From the looks of it, Yamato has a bumpy face.
Now the One Piece Manga 1024 spoilers near the end of the chapter where Kaido and Yamato both use “Raimei Hakke” and both their powers seem equal in power.
Even this chapter doesn’t put an end to their fight. Adult Momonosuke and Luffy might get shown in One Piece 1025.
Is Shomtsuki Ushimaru Zoro’s Father?
Zoro is surely no ordinary person and a person that strong must have a strong lineage. According to many fan theories on Twitter and the One Piece subreddit, Zoro surely has ties with Wano.
Since the introduction of Shimotsuki Ryuma and Ushimaru, people have been speculating that Ushimaru might be Zoro’s father, and even the timeline matches.
Ryuma being an ancestor of Zoro surely makes sense. They have similar techniques and both only had one functional eye. But nothing has been confirmed yet, so take everything with a grain of salt.
