Solo Leveling, one of the most popular manhwa of all time has completed its season one. It ended with the Jeju island raid and it also foreshadowed the truth behind Sung Jin-woo’s powers. Solo Leveling Season 2 will begin soon so here I would like to speculate about future story events.

This chapter was the finale of season 1 and wrapped up a few things while setting up other future arcs. It begins with the hunter association chairman Go Gun-hee receiving information about a B rank dungeon opening in the middle of the road. Luckily for him Jin-woo is already near it.
Jin-woo is in his car wondering what Mrs Selner saw that frightened her so much. She was so scared that she might never want to see him again. He then gets a call from the chairman and he accepts it. When he gets there he’s interrupted but, after talking to the chairman he goes inside the dungeon.
What seemed to be a B rank dungeon, turns out to be a red gate. That means he can only come out of it once he clears it and kills the boss. He then summons his shadow army and proceeds to clear it. Now we are shown what the other characters are up to during this.
The S rank hunter Cha Hae-in is seen in dojo, possibly training. We also have other S rank hunters Baek Yoon-ho and Choi Jong-in fighting over something. All the while, Jin-woo talks about being a hunter, and what it means. How they should always keep hunting and never stop or they will be hunted.
The last panel shows a few new faces and some old ones. There’s the American S rank hunter Thomas Andre, Chinese s rank hunter Liu Zhigeng. There’s also the American hunter’s association chairman David Brennon and beside him, Japanese hunter bureau’s president Matsumoto Shigeo. Also at the bottom we have Hwang Dong-su. They will all play a major part in season two.
Solo Leveling 111 speculation.
As Season 1 has ended everyone is eagerly waiting for season 2. Season 2 will feature even more amazing battles. There’s Cha Hae-in vs the shadows. We will also see the national level hunters of other countries. We will also learn more about Jin-woo’s father.
Now we know more about the ‘system’ and how it was made. Season 2 will reveal most of the story involving Jin-woo and the shadow monarch and how this game- like system came to be. The story is only 40-45% over and the major events and fights are yet to be seen.
With the coming release of Chapter 110 of Solo Leveling, D&C Webtoon has announced that the series has completed its first season on twitter.
So, what does this actually mean?
This means that solo Leveling is taking a short break of an unspecified period of time. How long will that be? That’s unknown. It could be a few weeks or a month or two. Fans are eagerly waiting for season 2 to start but unfortunately, we don’t have any concrete timeline yet, there has been no news from the author of Solo Leveling yet.
