The chapter begins with a funeral for the fallen s rank healer Myung-bin. Sung Jin-woo can be seen in the funeral where he is paying his respect to the fallen hero.
Simultaneously he also talks about the after-effects of the live telecast. Now everyone in Korea knows about hai powers. Everyone on the internet is talking about him. Some are praising him, the others are criticizing him for being late.
The fifth and the final Jeju island raid ended successfully. The least number of people died in this raid. The association chairman asks Jin-woo about the strange incident with the hunters losing consciousness. But he knows nothing about it.
As Jin-woo is heading towards his car, he’s approached by an agent from the hunter management bureau of America. Adam tells him that he has information that no other country in the world has and that they both stand to gain if they join hands.
He tells him about the upgrader. Someone who can upgrade the abilities of the hunters. This instantly catches his attention and he immediately agrees to meet the chairman.
But as he meets them it turns out that they actually want to recruit him to their clan and make him a citizen of USA. Jin-woo is only here to talk about the upgrader and is not interested in anything else. The chairman notices this and calls the upgrader.

Firstly, the manhwa does a few things differently from the novel. There’s a scene where Jin-woo scolds the journalists for making too much noise.
They also removed the part where a grandpa who was introduced in a previous chapter is shown thanking Jin-woo for avenging his son.
He is the same grandpa who was last seen in the chapter when all the hunters from Korea were preparing for the raid. They even cut down the conversation between Jin-woo and Go Gun-hee.
So if they follow this trend, it can be said that they are skipping over the slower parts of the story to get to the more interesting parts.
Now, about the upgrader in the upcoming Solo Leveling Chapter 109. The upgrader, Norma selner, is an African lady living in America. Considering that she has the most important ability of all, she has even better protection than the president himself.
Her powers are so majestic that she’s seen as a literal goddess amongst the s rank hunters. She’s African bur in the manhwa it seems that she might white. We’ll see about that in the next chapter.
The American hunter bureau’s goal is the exchange of a power upgrade for American citizenship. This way they will get more s rank hunters.
Other than that this arc will also feature an amazing and exhilarating fight. That is Andre vs Jin-woo. It might take some time, but we’ll definitely see that. Additionally, we’ll see more of Jin-woo’s father too.
