Tess and other important members have been living in another place for their safety. She isn’t allowed to go anywhere without prior information from Lord Aldir or Commander Virion.
Lance Varay helps her in sneaking out of the place under an excuse of an errand. They arrive at Etistin and look around to check the condition of the place.
Although the place is thought to be safe, Varay still asks Tess to keep her sword ready at all times to prepare for the worst-case scenario.
As they go around, Tess bumps into someone in a corner and confronts her with the sword. The situation wasn’t dangerous as the person was just Emily who was rushing to reach a place.

Long ago, Etistin was the human capital in the country of Sapin. It was located on the western coast of the continent.
Currently, all the fights are happening at various points of Beast Glades. Etistin is out of reach of the Dwarven and Elven countries and is totally on the opposite side of the Beast Glades.
Being the furthest city from the battle, it is now an ideal defensive location as it has an ocean surrounding three of its sides.
After the impending war was announced to the public over a year ago, King Glayder had torn down the city and rebuilt the last line of defense for protection from the Alacryan army.
Condition of Arthur’s friends
Tess has trained since Arthur left with the Asuras. She deems herself strong enough to fight alongside Arthur in the war. However, she isn’t allowed to go because Arthur might hesitate or look out for her if she is present in the situation.
Bairon is supervising Prince Curtis Glayder’s training in hopes to make him stronger. He is determined and hardworking but his progress is slow. His comprehension of mana is average despite being a beast tamer.
Varay is looking over Princess Kathyln Glayder’s training. She is moving well with her training and is making significant progress. She has always been told to be gifted and Varay can realise the reason for it in the last two years.
For the last two years, Arthur was training with Asuras and his friends took on this opportunity to grow stronger under the Lances and others.

Information from Director Cynthia
As it was last seen, Director Cynthia was also held under custody along with Arthur when he was arrested. She got an execution as a result of her deeds.
The people of Dicathen know mostly about their enemies from Director Cynthia. Master Aldir was partially able to break the curse that bound her from releasing any information about her homeland. However, she ended up in a coma in the end.
From what is known, Alacrya is located to the west of Dicathen. That brings Etistin closest to the enemy but the enemies had no effective way of transporting huge numbers of soldiers across the ocean.
This is the reason Alacyran enemies are going for a more discreet method which is to use the teleportation gates that they have hidden throughout the Beast Glades.
The Vritra could bring in a significant amount of force and keep it safely hidden in the endless maze of tunnels and dungeons until they’re ready to strike.
