Jiwoo’s Action
Jiwoo had popped up behind Duke while he was in action to hurt Gain. He asked how Gain got hurt and Duke was relieved that Jiwoo didn’t realize what was happening.
Duke easily changed his statement that the professor had attacked Gain and Jiwoo recognized the professor to be a part of Frame. Duke asked Jiwoo to take Gain and go away from the place while he took care of the situation.
Since Jiwoo was far, Duke couldn’t get a hold of him however he planned that Jiwoo would get closer, he could attack him at once and get rid of Jiwoo.
Jiwoo took Gain and while he asked him to run, Duke attacked him from behind. Duke thought his plan was a success but he realized after the attack that Jiwoo had moved even before Duke launched his attack.
Jiwoo revealed that he had his doubts about Duke and his actions but Gain would fall in between this chaos, so his plan was to take away Gain so that he was safe.
Gain assured that he could still hold on so taking on Duke and the professor should be done first as they can’t let them flee.

Jiwoo vs Duke
Duke had thought of finishing off Jiwoo when he came near him but it failed. After taking away Gain, he again thought that Jiwoo would run to ensure Gain’s safety but seems like it failed again.
Being inspired by Gain’s words, Jiwoo decided to take on Duke as fast as he could. Duke was surprised that he didn’t take the chance of escaping when he could.
Duke teased him due to being Kayden’s apprentice as he trained under him and has mastery over his force control. However, Duke also reveals that he’s the disciple of one of the World’s Top 10 awakened in Frame, Sir Schneider.
Duke’s favorable condition for joining Frame was to train under someone strong and it was met because Sir Schneider took him under his wing. He was recognized for his talent and trained by Sir Schneider in Frame.
Duke and Jiwoo use their energy to attack and defend. Duke is surprised because Jiwoo is faster and stronger and can’t understand his stats. On the other hand, Jiwoo realizes that this is not a spar where he’s learning to fight from his opponent so he needs to end it soon.
Both of them were risking their lives there so Jiwoo decides to go all out and beats Duke one-sidedly without giving him a chance to defend. Gain and the professor were shocked to see this new side of Jiwoo.

Observing Jiwoo’s attacks on Duke, the professor was surprised to see Duke who was trained by Sir Schenider lose to him. Surely, Jiwoo’s actions were restricted against Frame members as he was just trying to buy more time and distract them rather than attack.
Hence, the professor decided that it would be best to attack Jiwoo while his guard is down at this moment. She plans on taking advantage of this and eliminating him to make sure that he doesn’t escape.
This will ensure Duke and her safety at school and also allow them to escape. Even Duke’s cover wouldn’t be blown if Jiwoo is killed.
